Leschi Residence Update:
Construction started in April with the construction of the retaining walls, terraces and the wine making room. Over the summer months, the site has been regraded, the irrigation system and mole mesh have been installed, the concrete planters and steps have been poured and the site lighting has been installed. Now the finishes and pavers are being put in place. Still more concrete to be poured in the front yard for the main entry stairs and planters. The stone veener that is to be applied on all vertical surfaces should start to go up soon in the rear portion of the yard.

JML Design selected as architect for Guemes Island Retreat
We are very excited to have been selected as architect for a vacation home on Guemes Island in the San Juan Islands for a Seattle family. Schematic design for this west-facing waterfront site is to begin soon.

JML Design and Uberblock conduction feasibility study for energency housing solution
JML Design and Uberblock have teamed together to study the feasibility of converting shipping containers into dwelling units to serve as emergency housing. The potential site is in South Seattle and is in conjunction with a well known Seattle based non-profit organization thelping people experienceing difficult times and emergency needs.
